Funfly Jewellery Terms and conditions of use

Terms & Conditions;

Welcome to the website of Funfly Jewellery, before you start shopping, please make sure you agree with the following terms and conditions. This is necessarily a lengthy document, but we have tried to word in in easily to read form:

Important note on photographs;

We do our best to show accurate photographs each item for sale. An image will never show the true colours of an item, so much depends on the light source when it was photographed and the settings of your own screen, however we will try to describe the colours as accurately as we can.

We never carry out cosmetic work on our images, hand-made items may have tooling marks not found on machine-made mass-produced jewellery – this is the charm of bespoke jewellery, no two pieces are alike.

Definitions in these Terms;

Customers or visitors to this website are referred to as “you.” Funfly Jewellery is referred to as “us,” “our” or “we.”

You can only purchase the Goods from the Website if you are eligible to enter into a contract and are at least 18 years old.

Company information;

Our company details are provided at the end of these Terms. Please get in touch with us using any of these points of contact if you have any queries or feedback regarding your purchases:

Contract creation;

A contract is formed between you and us when you place the order for Product(s) on the Website by pressing the "order and pay now" button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website. Clicking the "order and pay now" button commits you to the purchase of the Product(s). You will receive a receipt for the Product(s) via email and no contract will be formed until you have received an email stating that your order status is "Posted" and the item has left our premises.

Due to the nature of our business, occasionally items that are shown on our website will not be in stock - in these cases we will email you with your options which may be limited to an immediate refund (refunds take 3-5 working days to get to your account after we have processed them).

Making a purchase

When placing an order, you agree that any and all information given is accurate and complete.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability of Product(s)/raw materials.

An order may be rejected if a pricing or product description error is identified.

Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.

When you purchase an item from us, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. When your item has been posted, you will receive an email confirming your purchase has been dispatched. You will normally receive a confirmation of postage email within one to two working days of your order being received and processed. In the unlikely event that the postage of your item is delayed, we will contact you to inform you of the date on which you can expect delivery. Unless your purchase coincides with a break in supply, orders will not take more than two working days to be dispatched - most orders are dispatched on the same or next working day. Orders placed at the weekend will normally be posted on the next working day. If you have any special requirements for postage, please contact us at the time of your order and we will be happy to try and meet these requirements.

Commissions are dealt with in a different way. Should you require a piece made specifically for you, even perhaps to a design you might have in mind, you should contact Pat directly by email, she will quote you a price and a probable time scale. When your request is finalised an advance payment of 25% will be required before work can be started as a sign of good faith. Commissions usually take up to 4 weeks.

We are a very small operation and not VAT registered so prices are as shown. We welcome purchases from overseas but all orders are charged in GBP, therefore any transaction fees that are added by your card company are not our responsibility.

We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those including price. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions and/or product and price information without any notice being given.
